They chat about what inspired her to become a Speech Therapist thanks to her deaf bestie in 8th grade who would ask her to teach her to say the words she signed, and in turn, she was able to learn sign language. Nicole saw the personal and social challenges her best friend overcame to communicate with others leading Nicole to her personal mission to empower others to communicate confidently, using their voice in one form or another. Nicole went on to earn a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from NYU. She has been a nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologist for children and adults for over 20 years.
